Aleš Procházka spent sixteen years at the Divadlo pod Palmovkou, where he played dozens of roles, for example Jakub in the drama Jakub and His Master (M. Kundera), de Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons. In the 2008/2009 season, he became a member of the MDP. TV appearances include the series Bambinot and The Pink Garden. He has done film dubbing for many actors including Tom Hanks, Kevin Spacey, and he also voiced Agent Cooper in Lynch’s cult series Twin Peaks.

The director Jan Koukal, also directed the 2025 Příběhy z nebezpečné říše (Tales from the Perilous Realm) production for Tympanum. It was recorded at Soundguru in Prague. The accompanying digital booklet includes biographies for J.R.R. Tolkien, Christopher Tolkien, and Aleš Procházka.
