Jokūbas Bareikis (born 1980) is one of Lithuania’s most versatile and beloved actors. Coming from a family of actors (his father is Saulius Bareikis), he is a mainstay of the Vilnius Small Theatre (Vilniaus mažasis teatras).

He is often described as having a “chameleonic” voice. In this recording, he avoids being overly dramatic, choosing instead a warm, epic storytelling tone. Bareikis is known for his musicality and clear, rhythmic delivery. He is an accomplished singer, which gives his narration a natural lyrical flow.
