The Hobbit in the 2020s
The 2020s have seen a great surge of interest in JRR Tolkien’s work, driven, in part, by the Amazon Rings of Power TV series. This has been reflected in the large number of new audio productions seen in the first half of the decade alone.

- 2022 El Hòbbit (Penguin Random House) Jordi Boixaderas gives the first of four Spanish dialect readings, this one is Catalan.
- 2023 Hobit (Slušalište) Independent Bosnian fan reading.
- 2023 Hobit (Slovart Publishing House) Dušan Cinkota gives an animated, distinct and textured performance for Slovakian listeners.
- 2023 El Hobbit (Audible Studios y Planeta Audio) Javier Gutiérrez gives the second of four Spanish dialect readings, this one is Castilian.
