This 2010 box set took five existing productions and bundled them together. It reproduces the set of works in the “expanded 2008 edition” of the book Tales from the Perilous Realm. This title was itself lifted from the 1992 BBC Radio 5 series by Brian Sibley who originally created that title and the series has been released in it’s own boxed sets. To maintain clarity between the two versions on this site, the original has (BBC) appended whilst the later one has (HC) appended, for HarperCollins.

There was a small-scale physical reissue in late 2017. This was through BBC Digital Audio / Penguin Random House (who occasionally handle the physical manufacturing for HarperCollins audio archives in certain territories). It was still an 8-CD set. This version is sometimes found on Discogs or eBay listed as a “2017 Reissue,” though the audio remains the 1998/1999 Jacobi recordings. It is thought to be identical in looks to the 2010.
